EXPO REAL, the International Trade Fair for Real Estate, Investment and Infrastructure, runs at Messe München from 5 to 7 October 2026. Timber Carbon exhibits at stand A3.TB35 in hall A3, within Transform & Beyond, the fair's area for innovation in real estate. On Tuesday 6 October, our co-founder and CEO Frank Vasek speaks twice: on the hubitation panel on collaboration between start-ups and established companies, and at the Tech Talk Stage on what the carbon removed in a timber building is worth in an investment case.

An audience that decides what gets built

EXPO REAL brings together developers, investors, asset managers and financing partners. It is where decisions about the next generation of buildings are made, and that shapes what we bring to Munich: the business case for biobased construction once the climate performance of a load-bearing structure has a price.

Panel: Inside Innovation, Tuesday 6 October

«Inside Innovation: 4 Praxisbeispiele aus der Zusammenarbeit Startups & Corporate», hosted by hubitation and moderated by Sebastian Jung of Nassauische Heimstätte | Wohnstadt, 10:00 to 11:15 on the Transform & Beyond Stage in hall A3. Frank Vasek appears in tandem with Lorenz Nagel of PRIMUS developments, alongside Bayerische Hausbau Development with All3, KHW Kommunale Haus und Wohnen with KIWI.KI, and the hubitation winning tandem 2026. The panel looks at how collaborations between start-ups and established companies come about, what they change on a real project and what both sides learn along the way.

Tech Talk: the business case for timber

«Turning buildings into carbon assets: the business case for timber», Tech Talk Stage, hall B2, stand 310, Tuesday 6 October at 13:30. A short pitch on how we quantify the carbon a timber building locks into its load-bearing structure, have the removal verified under internationally recognised standards and issue Timber Carbon Credits for it. The result is an additional revenue stream across the life cycle that feeds into the business case and, in borderline cases, tips the decision towards timber.

Meet us at stand A3.TB35

The stand is open across all three days in hall A3 and is one of the stops on the Transform & Beyond guided tours. Frank Vasek, Tim Träger and Ruven Peterhans are on site. Bring a project list: we calculate the carbon removal potential of your portfolio and show how the process runs digitally from the design phase to the registry. For a scheduled conversation, write to info@timbercarbon.ch before the fair.
