What is CDR technology, what are Timber Carbon Credits? They are biobased materials in the load-bearing structure of buildings: innovative engineered-wood products that decarbonise the building sector. Every cubic metre of biobased material removes around one tonne of CO₂.
The IPCC lists timber construction as a carbon removal technology; so does the EU CRCF.
